Hello Neighbors,
We have put out notice after notice about the problem(s) stated
below and as we approach the summer season, we must again inform those
community members with pets of their responsibilities to their surrounding
neighbors.
We are constantly receiving e-mails, letters and phone calls
concerning some of our neighbors with pets and their lack of consideration
and respect when it comes to cleaning up their animal’s waste.
These correspondences range from odors this creates in front of the
residence and\or backyards when not promptly removed, to pet
waste not being removed from others’ property, and pets being
allowed to roam free throughout our community.
As a result of the lack of response from some neighbors to this
on going problem, the board of directors has contacted Baltimore County
Code Enforcement and Baltimore County Animal Control for guidance.
Both agencies have suggested that the following steps be taken in an
effort to reach a resolution. But first, they have supplied us with
a copy of animal control laws for the State of Maryland
which are located below. Numbers 1 and 8 are very important;
#8 also applies to backyards.
We have also attached a copy of the proper way to resolve neighbor
disputes that will aid you with a guide in the proper method in resolving
these types of problems. Click here:

Finally, please be aware due to the fact that past notices concerning
this issue have gone unheeded, all future complaints received from
any neighbors related to this problem will now be forwarded to Baltimore
County Code Enforcement or Baltimore County Animal Control for disposition.
An update on the Pond Issue will follow in a few weeks both
on this website and via USPS.
