Special Meeting!
Dear Neighbors,
Over the past two years or so, as you all know or should know your
Board of Directors has been diligently working on resolving the issue
concerning the repair of our storm water management pond.
As the enclosed letter will explain, we have reached a point where
it is your turn to make a decision on how we should proceed.
In a few short weeks (6 at most) we should be receiving the final
permit from the State of Maryland at which time we can only surmise the
Baltimore County (DEPRM) Office will expect repairs to begin.
Therefore, we have a decision to make, do we do nothing and risk
up to a $1000.00 a day fine or do we vote to start collecting the necessary
funds via a special assessment of approximately $500.00 per household?
This is the dilemma we find ourselves in at this point and time. This
is your decision to make. Thus, the purpose of calling this special meeting.
This meeting will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Perry
Hall Library, 9440 Belair Road, Nottingham, Maryland 21236-1543 and will
begin promptly at 7:00PM. Because we know that there will be a multitude
of question, please be on time.
For those of you that may be on vacation or for other reason can
not be present at this meeting, we have included a proxy form so that
you may vote your choice via this method. However, this proxy form must
be returned prior to the July31st meeting.
Lastly, please do not take this notice lightly; you must respond
by proxy or by attending this meeting. We as your Board of Directors
hope to bring some finality to this issue but, the decision is yours
to make.
Please see enclosed letter, vote and return the proxy form.
