Homestead Property Tax Credit: Some
of us may be not be aware of this new tax law and have therefore
not filled out an application if needed. This web address, http://www.dat.state.md.us will
give you all the information you need and whether or not you have

Pond Issue Update: In
an effort to keep you up to date on the pond issue, please be advised
of the following information:
The Board of Directors has received several bids
to repair both the pond and the washout area of our open space. We
have been reviewing these bids along with the credentials of each
bidder to insure that they comply with plans approved by the DEPRM
office of Baltimore County.
Further, we have contacted Councilman Vince Gardina
to ask his assistance in soliciting funding from the county for this
project in as much as it was partly the county’s fault by not performing
proper inspections in a timely manner as required. We are hoping
that we can reach some type of resolution for funding that would
satisfy both the community and Baltimore County.
At this point we are waiting for a response from
Baltimore County officials before we can move forward with any next
step as far as funding is concerned.
At our next board meeting (click on BOARD for
date, time and place) after all bids are in and credentials are checked
we will be selecting a final bidder. Anyone wishing to sit in on
this process is welcome to do so however, participation is restricted
to current board members.
